AMAL Foundation: The Association of Mankind Lovers was founded in the year 2020 to serve mankind by way of helping the poor, needy and downtrodden people of the society in becoming self-reliant in the fields of education, healthcare and livelihood. It is a pro bono initiative and is funded by the general public.
For the purpose of eradicating the darkness of illiteracy and socio-economic backwardness especially amongst Muslims and downtrodden people of the society by way of adding quality education and training imparting academic institutions, we have launched a model school project namely Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Education Mission School as a pilot project at Deoband, District Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The cost of the whole project shall be 1 crore for Primary Section (Phase- I), between Rs. 8 to 10 crores for Sr. Secondary CBSE School (Phase- II) and between Rs. 15 to 20 crores for an IB international residential school. The estimated time frame for accomplishment of the project (upto Phase-II) is three to five years from now. However, the teaching of primary sections i.e. preparatory to class- II is proposed to be started from the upcoming academic session i.e. AY 2022-2023 in a rented building with state of the art infrastructure, especially designed curriculum, and highly qualified & trained human resource. Upon accomplishment, this model will be taken to other parts of the country, where there is a considerable population of Muslims reside.
Project Benefits: The project will cater the need of education of the society. At the same time it will also generate employment for the community. At least 100 people will get direct employment as teachers, support staff, security service, and housekeeping service in one non-residential school while indirect employment will also generate in real-estate, construction and allied sectors.
Project Beneficiaries: It will provide low cost quality education to the children of all communities without any discrimination irrespective of their cast, creed and religion.
Revenue Model: The infrastructural set up will be erected from public funding. However, for recurring expenditure a reasonable tuition fee will be charged from the students. It will help the school in becoming self-sufficient in the long term.
Project Funding: Being a pro bono community project, the general public is appealed to wholeheartedly support it by making generous contribution on the principle of one rupee per person per day.
We need the help of only 70 thousand Muslim families across the country to donate us Rs. 1440 each for a full year to convert this much needed community project into reality.

If only seventy thousands of them support the cause of education and development by donating 4 rupees a day, the entire cost of the project would be met out within one year from now.
